| We are working on "atom device physics" by using individual dopant atoms in Si nanostructures. This is based on previous solid understanding of single-electron tunneling devices, allowing fast-paced progress towards this new field of single-dopant electronics. In the future, we have a plan to incorporate photonics into this research, and finally our target will be developing ultimately small energy consumption devices on the basis of a few atoms, a few electrons and a few photons. |
