Our group is doing research on optical science and extending the research results in many application fields. We have developed optical measurement, fabrication, and control techniques in nanometric region with laser light. We have developed high resolution optical microscopy, multiphoton process for optical measurement and fabrication, probe microscopy and manipulators, three dimensional measurement with high-speed and high resolution imaging stacking technique. because the film separates the environment of the specimen from the vacuum in the microscope.

- Nano-imaging with a nanometric light source
- Plasmonics in deep UV region
- Multiphoton process for high resolution 3D fabrication
- Nanomanipulator based on high-speed atomic force microscope (AFM)
- Compact AFM coupled with SEM / OM
- Nanofabrication using a scanning nanopipette probe microscope
- Super-resolution optical microscopy based on 3D structured illumination
- High-throughput three dimensional measurment with image stacking system
