The 11th Takayanagi Kenjiro Memorial Symposium was held on Nov. 11 - 12, 2009, with dedication ceremony for Milestone Award from Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
The main theme of this symposium was "Toward Advanced Imaging Science Creation." Famous professors having proven expertise in their respective fields were invited to talk about the advanced key-technologies and discuss future challenges confronting sciences and technology developments.

 第11回高柳シンポジウムが平成21年11月12, 13日に開催されました。今回は高柳先生の電子式テレビジョン開発の業績によってIEEE(米国電気電子学会)からマイルストーン賞が授与され、その授賞式と同時開催となりました。
 「次世代画像科学の創出」をテーマとし、大きな国際会議において基調講演をされている国内外の著名な先生方から、非常に興味深い最先端技術の御講演を頂くとともに、活発な議論の場が設けられました。
