Recently, most of electronic and optical devices have been studied in terms of miniaturization for the purpose of increasing packing density, decreasing power consumption and diversity of device functions. Research on nanodevices is deeply related to quantum device physics, resulting in creation of new electronics. We are individually working on the fields of electronics, photonics, and thermoelectronic devices. More detailed research topics are indicated below.<\/div>\n

  5. Achievement of high efficiency in thermopile infrared photodetector by Si nanostructures (Ikeda)<\/li>\n
  6. Fabrication of thermopile with Si nanowires (Ikeda)<\/li>\n
  7. Construction of measurement techniques for characterizing thermoelectric nanomaterials (Ikeda)<\/li>\n
